Two weeks ago, I was mugged in Adams Morgan for the second time this year. The first time I was mugged at gunpoint by a kid who looked no older than 16 on Lanier Place, between Quarry and Ontario, at 7pm. On Nov. 14, I was mugged, this time no gun, on 19th and California, at 9pm. Last month, I also saw my car getting stolen off Biltmore Street at 6 pm as I was coming home from work. It was still light out and there were tons of people around. Adams Morgan is not safe. I am looking for a new place to live.
