If you live in the Adams Morgan neighborhood, chances are you have been involved in some mugging incident or know someone who has. It is time to take action as a neighborhood and work together to decrease the crime. I don't know about those that live here, but we have a vested interest in seeing crime go down because we will feel safer and our property value will increase. If crime statistics keep on the rise, then the value of all our property will decrease significantly. So, this website was created after a recent wave of muggings / armed robbery in the neighborhood. We all know that if people are carrying around guns and knives to steal, then this can only lead to larger crimes such as murder or rapings.

We have a beautiful neighborhood and many enthusiastic neighbors in this community. This website is meant to unite all of the neighborhood. We have created a discussion board where those that have been assaulted can document their stories and we can collaborate on ideas for positive change as a community.

Please register with the site and tell everyone you know about the site that lives in the neighborhood. ALSO, please read through some of the forums and add your ideas and volunteer to get involved. I am not going to sit around and wait until I am mugged, I am going to work at creating a more cohesive community that says NO to crime in the area and fights back.

Consider my wife and I the leaders of the fight against crime in Adams Morgan.
