hi! we live in adams morgan near where the muggings took place. a couple of months ago, someone stole two bikes from our enclosed patio. the thieves didn't get a third bike which was chained with a kryptonite lock to a porch railing. alas, bike #3 didn't stay safe for long -- a month later, someone kicked out the railing and absconded with our last bike! really soured us -- the dirty thieves must have opened the patio door to scout what was inside -- pretty ballsy.
