As a newcomer to this neighborhood, I am hearing horror stories that have happened only 1 block from my home and it is terrifying. I have already had my car broken into twice. Is there any organized system among the people who live in the neighborhood? Can there be signs made that people put on their lawns, in their windows, or on their cars that say something like, "Community Watch-Adams Morgan," sort of like a Slomon's Shield type thing? Are there meetings within the community to organize and combat this?
